Coming off their first state championship, the Titans still have an embarrassment of riches throughout their roster and seemingly no end in sight to their player pipeline. Teriyon “Mookie” Cooper is off to Ohio State with some scouts saying he’s the fastest athlete in the Midwest. Four-star running back Reggie Love continued a Trinity trend to commit to Illinois and follow Isaiah Williams and Shammond Cooper. James Frenchie is a severely underrated athlete who can play multiple positions on both sides of the ball. Demetrius Cannon blew up this offseason and is going to be a major threat at wide receiver for the next two years. Scott Presson could be the best tight end in the entire area. His build and athleticism are outstanding. The Titans return three starting linemen, including Mizzou commit, Jalen St. John. Coach Curry made an emphasis on balancing the offense out and take advantage of their run game while making things easier for their elite receivers. The quarterback position is the biggest question. Apparently, it's been a two-way competition between junior Xavier Cunningham and freshman Christian Cotton. We’ve heard great things about both of them, so whoever it’s going to be, Trinity should still have a competent signal-caller. Defensively, the Titans will be fine once again. Poynter and White are two relentless linemen along with Smith who converts to linebacker... The Titans are thinking two-peat, and if they play to their potential, they will get there.
